block ssh brute via iptables
hello there, i have received some ssh brute force attacks on my servers.
so i have found very simple solution
1 2 3 4 | iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 22 --syn -m limit --limit 1/m --limit-burst 3 -j ACCEPT iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 22 --syn -j DROP service iptables save service iptables restart |

Apache/2.2.3 image fix
sometimes Apache/2.2.3 doesn’t load some random images.
i had image problem on 3 servers (running Centos 5.5 x64)
so i have found very easy solution edit httpd.conf
and uncomment those two lines
1 2 | #EnableMMAP off #EnableSendfile off |
thats all
